The most established and respected pet salon in Poway, is looking to add a part-time stylist to the family! Must have at least one year of professional dog grooming experience, a love of animals, and exceptional customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always maintain proper safety while handling pets
- Demonstrate compassionate care of animals
- Bathing pets from a variety of breed, health, age, temperament, and conditions
- Drying, brushing, de-matting, nails trimmed and/or dremeled
- Anal gland checks and relief
- Maintain a positive, calm environment
- Adhere to cleaning schedule and processes
- Perform grooming services per customer instructions.
Qualifications:
- Love of animals
- Excellent communication
- Willing to jump in and do what needs to be done

- Ability to follow directions and comply with policies/procedures
- No pet allergies
- Excellent time management
- Flexibility in work schedule
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Control the safety and comfort of pets while providing services
- Maintain proper body mechanics
- Bending, lifting, sitting, standing, kneeling
Salary:
- Part-time (20-30 hours/week) and Full Time
- $17.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience
