Our Policies on CANCELLATIONS AND DEPOSITS
Welcome to Dapper Doggery, your trusted pet care service in Poway and Ramona! We understand that life can get hectic, especially during summer travels. We greatly appreciate our customers who have reached out to reschedule their appointments due to upcoming trips. We are more than happy to accommodate your needs with just a 24-hour notice.
Our dedicated groomers and employees rely on scheduled appointments to make a living. Over the past 8 months, we have been proactive in sending phone calls and reminders starting 72 hours prior to your appointment. We kindly request that if you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance, allowing us to fill the appointment slot. Unfortunately, a few individuals have taken advantage of our current scheduling process. To address this, we will be implementing a new policy for new customers and for those who have frequently canceled or rescheduled without sufficient notice.
All new customers and customers who have previously canceled or rescheduled without 24-hour notice will be required to place a fully refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the service price when booking your appointment. Rest assured, this deposit will be applied to the total cost of your service upon your arrival. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 business hours, enabling us to fill the slot, your 50% deposit will be promptly refunded. However, if the appointment is missed without sufficient notice, the deposit will be used to cover our costs.
At Dapper Doggery, we take pride in offering a superior pet care experience in Poway and North County. Unlike most salons, where dogs are left in cages for 3-4 hours in dirty facilities that haven’t been upgraded in years, we provide personalized 1-on-1 service. We have received numerous customers who were dissatisfied with the lack of care, cleanliness, and quality of service at other establishments. This is often a result of overworked and underpaid groomers, with business owners prioritizing profit over the well-being of pets. Additionally, overbooking leads to mistakes and potential injuries. As a family-owned business, we prioritize the safety of your furry friends, our employees, and our valued customers. We are committed to providing the best pet care service in San Diego County.
